Made to Fit. Made to Misbehave.
I've never been particularly good at fitting into boxes. Apparently, that includes the ones clothing manufacturers use to determine jacket sizes.
Too long. Too short. Too tight in the shoulders. Too loose everywhere else. I've spent years convinced the fashion industry has a personal vendetta against my proportions.
So, rather than continue my lifelong argument with fitting room mirrors, I decided to do what any perfectly reasonable person would do. Make my own.
Part necessity. Part creative obsession. Part stubborn refusal to accept that "close enough" is good enough. A little fabric, a little leather, and a questionable amount of confidence.
Turns out, making a jacket is considerably harder than complaining about one. But where's the fun in easy?
Because life's too short for bad fits, boring jackets, and pretending we're all built the same. Besides, I've never been much for following patterns. Except the ones I cut myself.
