Journal Covers
Journal covers are meaningful to me because they protect something deeply personal. A journal is not always necessary in a practical sense, but it can become a quiet companion: a place to record memories, thoughts, gratitude, questions, and the small details of a life that might otherwise pass unnoticed. The cover becomes more than leather around the paper. It becomes a reminder to pause, reflect, and return to yourself. That is part of what connects them to therapy for me. So much of healing begins with paying attention to what we feel, what we remember, what we hope for, and what we are learning to carry differently. A handmade journal cover holds space for that kind of noticing. It is an object made not because we need it, but because sometimes beauty helps us remember to be in the moment.
